Bass, Nixon & Kennedy, Inc. Consulting Engineers
Our Mission: To treat our client's projects as if they are our own.

Serving the Triangle and surrounding areas for 41 years.

BNK currently employs 13 engineers, 17 designers, 5 professional surveyors, 3 survey crews, 2 landscape architects and 1 erosion control specialist. BNK has been providing engineering excellence since 1969 when BASS, NIXON & KENNEDY, INC. was formed by Al Bass, Larry Nixon, and Don Kennedy for the practice of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering and land surveying.

The varied experience of BNK’s Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors allows the accomplishment of many types of work and projects for clients in government, educational, institutional, residential, subdivisions and commercial fields. While a large part of our FPME work is as a sub-consultant to architects, most of the civil engineering services are provided directly to the client, especially work involving site planning and permitting, cost inspections, and studies.
