1983 – Present

• Senior Principal Engineer, Vice-President and Secretary-Treasurer in the firm of Bass, Nixon & Kennedy, Inc., a private firm offering engineering services in the fields of Mechanical, Fire Protection, Electrical and Civil Engineering and Land Surveying. As the Civil Division Supervisor, Mr. Bell is actively involved with client administration, marketing, municipal stakeholder committees, homebuilder associations and other development industry related functions. In addition to administration duties, other responsibilities include project coordination, staff training, mentoring, project design and review of residential, commercial, schools and industrial projects. Experience also includes the development of good working relationships with many of the major and minor municipalities across the State of North Carolina in which actual design and project coordination was performed.
